Q: The crown and winding stem seem loose when I change the time/wind the watch, is this normal?

A: --YES--. On Vostok Amphibia/Komandirskie models, the crown and winding stem are connected by a ball and socket type fitting. This is an normal design feature that reduces lateral pressure on the stem should you decide to wind or change the time whilst the watch is on your wrist. This feature is also used on some models of high end watches by Omega and Patek Philipe

Q: Does the bezel turn smoothly or with clicks?

A: Vostok bezels rotate smoothly.

Q: Does changing the bezel affect the water resistance?

A: --No-- the bezel is an external cosmetic part and plays no part in the water resistance.

Q: How do I change the date?

A: There is no quick change facility, rotate time until desired date is reached. Always ensure crown is screwed back firmly after winding/setting.

If this watch has a Shark Mesh strap, note they are quite long and have little adjustment. They are suitable for wrist sizes of 20cm to 21cm. If you have a smaller wrist, you will have a looser fitting watch.
