Golden Yellow
|
| 3 stonesPear + 2 Cushion | 0.24 ctTotal Weight | VSClarity |
Three natural diamonds, 0.24 carats in total, eight points each. One pear and two cushions, in a warm golden range. The pear and one cushion are a clear golden yellow; the other cushion carries a noticeably stronger orange-amber core and reads as the most orangy of the three. They sit together as a warm group, but they are not three identical yellows.
A pear between two cushions is a natural arrangement, and it is exactly how these three photograph best. The pear gives the group a centre and a direction; the cushions frame it either side. That is the layout of a three-stone ring already worked out — and the orangy cushion gives it a warm accent at one end rather than a flat, uniform line.
Clarity is VS across all three, so inclusions need magnification and nothing reaches the naked eye. Eight points is small but not melee-small — enough to carry a piece, low enough to sit flush without catching.
Golden yellow with one amber accent, a pear at the centre. Warm, bright and already laid out.

Tonal Range · Golden Yellow Through To Orangy Amber
One pear with two cushions supports designs that three identical stones cannot — above all, a three-stone ring with a genuine centrepiece.
Pear-centre three-stone ringThe strongest use and the arrangement the stones already fall into. Pear at the centre pointing along the finger, a cushion either side, with the orangy one giving a warm accent at the end. Bright, warm and clearly designed rather than matched off a tray. |
Signet ring, single stoneA cushion flush-set into the face of a heavy gold signet. The orangy cushion is the boldest choice; the golden one the classic. Understated and hard-wearing, nothing raised to catch or snag. |
Pear pendant plus a ringThe pear on a fine chain, where it hangs and points naturally, and a cushion set in a matching ring. One parcel, two finished pieces that clearly belong together. |
Minimal bezel solitaireOne stone rub-over set on a fine band. At eight points it sits very low and close to the finger, which is what makes minimal work look considered rather than thin. Yellow, rose or blackened silver. |
Toi et moi ringThe pear and the orangy cushion side by side on one band — two shapes, two warm tones. The design wants exactly this: two stones that differ deliberately, in form and in colour. |
Men's and unisex piecesThe orangy amber cushion in particular carries well in men's work — flush-set in a broad band, a signet, cufflinks or a tie bar. Low profile and warm colour read as restrained rather than decorative. |
On metal: yellow gold is the natural pairing and deepens the golden stones; rose gold flatters the orangy cushion particularly well. These are bright enough to hold their own against white gold and platinum better than a pale or brown stone would. Brushed and satin finishes suit them better than high polish.
Two Separate Guarantees
These are natural mined diamonds, not laboratory grown. Not CVD, not HPHT grown, not synthetic, not simulants. All three came out of the ground.
No treatment of any kind has been applied. Not irradiated, not HPHT colour treated, not coated, not painted, not laser drilled, not fracture filled, not heated, not enhanced in any other way. The colour in all three stones is their own.
Our guarantee on both points: if any stone in this parcel is shown by a recognised gemmological laboratory to be laboratory grown, or to have been treated in any way, return the complete parcel within 30 days of delivery for a full refund including your testing costs. We will honour that without argument.
Worth knowing: yellow and orange are among the most commonly treated colours on the market, because saturated natural colour commands a premium and treated colour is cheap to produce. None of it can be separated from natural by eye. That is exactly why we state our position as a guarantee backed by a refund rather than as a line in a description. If it matters to you, hold us to it.

Full Disclosure
This is a parcel of three stones and 0.24 carats is the total. Please do not read that as the weight of a single diamond. Each stone is around eight points — small, and considerably smaller in the hand than a close-up photograph suggests. Look at the tweezer and box shots for a true sense of scale.
Mixed shapes, and one stone is noticeably more orange. One is a pear and two are cushions. Two stones are golden yellow; the third cushion has a stronger orange-amber core and reads clearly warmer than the others. If you need three identical yellows, this parcel is not that — judge the difference from the photographs, which show all three side by side.
The colour and clarity assessments are our own, made in Bangkok under standard grading conditions, not laboratory grades. A laboratory would grade each stone individually and may return different results. The colours are described in plain terms rather than as laboratory grades.
The pear has a point, and points are where small stones take damage. No cut, polish or symmetry grades are offered, and individual measurements are not published here. We recommend a V-tip or protective setting for the pear, and telling your setter before any work begins. If you need millimetre dimensions for any stone, ask and we will measure them before you bid.
Every photograph and the video show the actual stones under natural light without colour correction. Yellow and orange read stronger under incandescent light and flatter under cool daylight. Study all the images and ask us for more if you want them.
