Vintage Osborne & Little Heavy Linen Curtains
"JAI" by Victoria Waymouth — Shah Jahan Collection (1999)

Great Condition 

This is a beautiful, RARE pair of vintage 1990s curtains from the iconic collaboration between Osborne & Little and interior designer Victoria Waymouth. The "Jai" print is a gorgeous, Moghul-inspired block-print style on a high-quality, heavy-weight linen that hangs beautifully. Fully lined in 100% cotton with weighted corners.

This 'Jai' fabric (dated 1999) is highly sought after by vintage interior decorators and holds great value, whether used as curtains or re-purposed for other upholstery projects.

Condition:

• Freshly washed and ironed, so they are clean, smell great, and are ready to hang straight away.
• As is very common with authentic 90s heavy linen, there is some minor sun-fading along one vertical edge of each panel, along with the odd light mark from gentle use.
• This pair is in just very marginally better condition 
• I have taken plenty of photos in clear, natural light to show the true condition and colours. Colour comparisons are included, but if you want a photo against a particular background colour, just let me know.

Measurements (Per Single Panel):

• Drop / Length: 89 inches (226 cm) from the very top to the hem.
• Flat Hem Width: 74 inches (190 cm) ungathered at the bottom.
• Pleated Top Width: 45 inches (115 cm) approx. as they are currently stitched.
• Total Coverage: This pair will span a maximum window width of 90 inches (230 cm) as they are now.

Heading Flexibility: They are currently made as pinch pleat curtains with a fixed top. However, the header tape is designed so they can easily be changed back to standard pencil pleats if you need more width. Simply snipping the thread that creates the pleats will allow them to be gathered normally by the strings. See photos of the pleats/header front and back. Please message if you'd like more explanation on this!

Note on sizing: I try to measure as accurately as possible, but please allow room for minor errors. Let me know if you need any specific precision measurements.

These are premium, substantial linen drapes and are quite heavy. They will be packed carefully and sent fully tracked.

While I accept returns in line with business regulations, it is incredibly time-consuming and costly for a small business. Please double-check your window measurements and look closely at the photos prior to purchase so you can buy with confidence. Buyer cover return postage costs.

The international shipping option uses the Ebay Global shipping service and they set the price for this, I post within the UK and Ebay ships from their hub.
