Faulty Konica Big Mini BM-201 35mm Compact Point & Shoot Film Camera Film Tested RARE

This was found during the clearance of an elderly relatives home recently.

Overall still in nice condition with just a few minor marks from use and storage but certainly not bad condition at all.

I've film tested this and it works shooting pictures but had a couple of issues.

These are:

The flash itself I can't get to work. It takes photos fine but the flash function doesn't appear to work.

At the end of the film roll, the auto rewind doesn't seem to work so you can press the rewind button on the base which does actually work fine and rewind the film without problem.

The bottoms on the rear to change mode does work but seems like you need to press it a few times to change but it does do it so unsure of the reason for that.

The rear LCD is faint and looks washed out so unsure if this is an issue with the ribbon cable which is apparently a common issue.

The camera turns on fine but the lens itself only comes out slowly and retracts back slowly when turned off. I've tried a new battery so don't think it's battery related. Unsure why it's not quicker but it still does work just slowly.

However the main unit works as in it turns on fine. It takes photos fine and it winds on fine. If you are ok to press the auto rewind button at the end of the film and not concerned the flash isn't working and are aware of all the issues mentioned above then it's a great useable camera.
