Sekonic L-8 Light Meter Booster Cell Amplifier With Leather Case 1950s

Vintage Sekonic selenium booster cell or light amplifier made for use with compatible Sekonic exposure meters including the L-8 Leader Deluxe. The large selenium cell was designed to increase meter sensitivity when taking readings in low light. It is marked Sekonic and Seiko Elec. Ins. Ind. Co. Tokyo Japan and includes the removable Sekonic diffuser plate and original fitted leather case. The booster has not been tested with a compatible exposure meter and is therefore offered with its working condition unconfirmed.
