Description:
This is a classic-style 9ct gold vintage ring set with a dark sapphire and clear stones. The main oval-cut gem is held aloft by claws and surrounded by a border of sparkling round-cut clear stones, with the whole arrangement being contained in a white gold flashed basket mount. This is supported on either side by the shoulders of the band, which are fashioned into heart shapes with a round-cut clear stone recessed into them. It is hallmarked Birmingham 1993.
