Wonderful pair of original vintage promotional photographs of professional wrestler Baby Doe, dating to the 1950s.
Both photographs show Baby Doe posed inside the wrestling ring, including a particularly striking full-length ring portrait. A terrific pair of images from the era of mid-century women’s professional wrestling.
Each photograph measures approximately 8 x 10 inches. Both are identified “Baby Doe” in handwritten ink on the reverse. I have not been able to determine who wrote the identification, Baby Doe herself or someone else, as I cannot find and example of her signature.
These appear to have been working promotional photographs and show appropriate signs of age and use, including old tape and tape residue at the corners and edges, light handling wear, minor surface marks, edge/corner wear, and age-related discoloration to the mounts. Overall, they remain in very good vintage condition for promotional photographs of this age. Please see all photographs for condition and details.
