DESCRIPTION:

Glorious Kastrup Glassworks carafe with original applied rattan detail with original wood and cork stopper, (NOTE: the cork is somewhat shrunk perhaps due to dehydration and only sits inside rather that fits snugly)  along with a single matching glass also with rattan detail. Both pieces are part of Jacob Bang's Gron Serie or Green Series produced from 1960 onwards at Kastrup glassworks, Denmark. Great vintage condition with no chips or cracks, some wear to the rattan as seen in images.

From internet research: Jacob Bang is regarded as one of Denmark's first industrial designers. His long career was instrumental in the success of Danish design from the Art Deco period up until the Modernism of the 1950's and 60's.
