Sainsburys Makers Of The Millennium Commemorative Coin (Choose Your Coin)

Sainsbury’s Makers of the Millennium Commemorative Coin (Choose Your Coin)

Released in 1999–2000, the Makers of the Millennium series was a special commemorative promotion by Sainsbury’s to celebrate the turn of the century. Each coin in the collection highlights an influential figure whose work shaped the modern world — covering science, invention, exploration, culture, and social progress.

These coins were originally distributed through Sainsbury’s stores as part of a limited‑run millennium celebration, and they’ve since become a popular collectible series for anyone interested in British supermarket memorabilia, millennium‑era promotions, or historical themed tokens.
