Pseudodiscophyllum sp.
This specimen comes from the Upper Ktaoua Formation, an important Ordovician fossil-bearing unit of southeastern Morocco, well known for its diverse marine fossil assemblages.
Pseudodiscophyllum is characterized by its distinctive discoidal morphology and radial structure, giving the fossil a particularly unusual and recognizable appearance. Its preservation offers an interesting glimpse into the marine ecosystems that inhabited North Africa during the Late Ordovician.
A fascinating and uncommon specimen, ideal for collectors interested in Ordovician fossils, unusual marine organisms and classic Moroccan palaeontological localities.
