1932–1933 Historical Polish Travel Document with Palestine Visa, British Stamps


An authentic, complete 1930s Polish Republic (Rzeczpospolita Polska) personal document issued in Warsaw to a Jewish woman, documenting her travel route to Mandatory Palestine via Czechoslovakia, Austria, Yugoslavia, and Italy (Naples) in April 1933. An outstanding historical piece of Judaica and pre-WWII migration history.

  • Significant Stamps, Visas & Revenues:

    • British Palestine Visa & Revenue Stamps: Issued in Budapest (March 3, 1933) featuring 5 cancelled official British Consular Service revenue stamps (4x 4-shilling green stamps + 1x 1-shilling green stamp).

    • Czechoslovak Transit Stamps: Large purple rectangular visa stamp issued by the Czechoslovak Legation in Warsaw (April 1, 1933).

    • Austrian Transit Stamps: Rectangular purple visa stamp from the Austrian Embassy in Warsaw, along with a red square entry stamp (Einreise) dated April 4, 1933.

    • Yugoslavian Royal Seals & Stamps: Official red circular seal and hand-stamped visa from the Royal Yugoslavian Embassy (Kraljevina Jugoslavija) in Warsaw.

    • Italian Border & Maritime Departure Stamps: Black rectangular entry stamp from the Tarvisio railway border (Valico Ferroviario di Tarvisio, April 4, 1933) and an exit departure stamp from the Port of Naples (Napoli 2 Scalo Molo, April 5, 1933).

Condition: Original vintage condition with bright, crisp ink stamps and official seals. Includes original portrait photograph attached with red embossed official stamps. Minor age-related edge wear as expected.
