Direct replacement 233 (T4W / BA9S) white LED bulbs for the front sidelights on the VW Transporter T4, 1990 to 2003, as listed in the compatibility table above. A plug and play upgrade over the dim yellow factory bulbs, giving a crisp white sidelight that suits modern LED headlights and lifts the look of any T4 or campervan conversion. CANbus and Dashboard Warnings

These bulbs have built-in resistors and fit without an error on the large majority of vehicles. Some cars watch their bulbs more closely than others. On those you may still see a bulb warning on the dash, or the light may flicker or switch itself off. Audi, BMW, Mercedes, newer VW group and newer Vauxhall models are the most likely. If that happens it is your car's monitoring system talking, not a fault with the bulbs, and a load resistor or a quick coding change clears it.

Installation

Unclip the sidelight lens or reach the holder from behind the headlamp, twist out the old bulb and drop the LED straight in. If it does not light, pull it out, rotate 180 degrees and refit, as LEDs are polarity sensitive.
