Iron Meteorite (Ungrouped)

East Ewienat Desert 
Egypt.

Discovered in Egypt's Western Desert,
this iron meteorite formed from a high speed impact
weighing over 1,600 kg. It created a well preserved crater and is composed mainly of nickel-iron alloy with sharp shrapnel like fragments scattered around the site.
