ARVÉ GRADED COLLECTIBLES JAPAN is a Japan-based curator specializing in graded collectibles such as comics, manga, video games, cameras, and other long-term investment pieces.
Our base of operations is Hokkaido, Japan – one of the least humid regions in the country. This low-humidity environment greatly reduces the risk of mold, paper warping, and other humidity-related damage, making it ideal for preserving high-grade collectibles.
We have a proven track record of submitting coins and other collectibles to major grading companies and selling graded items worldwide, and now apply that expertise to manga and games.
Our mission is to reconstruct the value of collections and curate items for future collectible potential.
This listing is for Ushiro no Hyakutarou Vol.1 (First Printing, 1974), professionally graded by CBCS with a final grade of 4.5.
As one of the earliest horror-themed manga titles of the 1970s, Ushiro no Hyakutarou occupies an important position in the evolution of Japanese supernatural storytelling. First-print copies are extremely rare due to low publication numbers and the fragile nature of early manga production standards.
Despite visible wear, the survival of any graded first-print copy from 1974 is uncommon. This makes the present example a valuable artifact for collectors of early Japanese horror manga and pre-1980 print culture.
