This is a rare "Big Oyster/Ref. 6424" model featuring a 36mm diameter Oyster case. Among them, this is an extremely rare early production example. The dial is the original powder dial, which has aged beautifully throughout. The small crown mark at the 12 o'clock position, the combination of alpha hands and wedge-shaped indices, and other details give it a distinctly vintage look. While there are minor scratches and dents on the exterior, there are no major dents or excessive damage, making it in good condition considering its age. Its size is perfectly balanced between a sports model and a standard model, and the slim profile characteristic of a hand-wound movement is also appealing. The watch is fitted with a valuable 20mm wide USA-made Jubilee bracelet. It underwent an overhaul (disassembly and cleaning) on August 4, 2026.
