Shakespeare 2741 DB saltwater spinning reel made in Japan featuring a ball bearing supported pinion gear, machined aluminum spool, collapsible winding handle, front drag adjuster, original leather drag washers, automatic bail release and an all metal gear case making it very strong and durable. Very smooth on cast and retrieve, the bail snaps back after each cast and the drag pull is very smooth with selective click anti-reverse. This is a high quality freshwater or saltwater workhorse a very solid reel that will not let you down. Exceptional mechanical condition the gears and bearings show very little wear and everything works better than intended as only precision greases and oils made specifically to lubricate and protect within the marine environment are used when I service a reel, exceptionally nice exterior condition, like new with few if any handling marks from light if any use. This reel has been completely serviced and runs very smooth, gears have been cleaned and re-greased, the bearings were oiled and the drag stack was cleaned and re-installed, re-assembled and ready to fish.
