Early 20th century banjolin.It is an 8-string banjo with a wooden neck and steel/nickled body. This is pretty rough on the plating. Cow hide is bug eaten. One of the string pegs looks longer (circled in picture). Solid piece not loose.  It doesn't have a name that I can find.  It looks like it use to have a small 2 nail plate on the back center bar. It's also circled. As is,well loved.
