This small, top handled, tote bag is from the 'JFW' range from "John Lewis" c. 90s-00s.
It is made from black leather with an ivory edge trim and has silver/chrome-finished hardware and base studs.
It has sturdy, twin, grab handles. A decorative belt in white leather runs around the top of the bag, threading through the ends and is secured by a neat, little padlock. There is a tiny key for this on a matching leather strap. The padlock can be unlocked and opened to release the belt, so expanding the capacity of the bag a little.
The top of the bag closes with an inner, central, leather tab which is secured by a magnetic snap.
The interior, lined in pink fabric, has a central zipped pocket dividing the space, a second smaller zipped pocket and a little slip pocket.
A very classic looking, little bag, perfect for occasions!
