Even the best awning can show slight signs of wear over time or the desire for a new color arises. But that doesn't mean you have to replace the entire awning. With our high-quality accessories - piping, valances and awning fabrics - you can easily refresh your awning and design it according to your individual ideas.
- Piping: The piping ensures a secure and stable attachment of the awning fabric. If it loses its elasticity over time, it can be easily replaced so that your awning fits perfectly again. It has a diameter of 6mm.
- Awning fabrics: Whether classic, modern or colorful – with a new awning fabric you can adapt your awning to your personal style. Choose from a variety of high-quality fabrics that are UV-resistant, weatherproof and durable.
With these simple accessories you can give your awning a new look in no time - sustainable, stylish and entirely tailored to your individual wishes.
If they match the size of your awning, our awning fabrics can also be used for awnings that are not part of our brand. Please note, however, that the piping sometimes has different sizes. If necessary, you can also use the old piping accordingly.
Characteristics
Our awning fabrics are made from 100% polyacrylic.
Good awning fabrics and awnings in Europe are made of this material as these materials were specifically developed for outdoor use.
Our cloths offer you shade and very high UV protection of over 50. Only specially refined materials offer this protection. With some other shade providers you get a nasty surprise in the evening - you realize that you have suffered a painful sunburn while you thought you were safe in the shade of the sun protection. This doesn't happen with our awning fabrics. You can rest under the shade provided by the cloth without any worries, even if you have very sensitive skin.
A good polyacrylic cloth differs from a cheap cloth in that the threads are first spun-dyed during the manufacturing process. These dyed threads are then woven into a fabric. This process ensures significantly higher light and color fastness than with inexpensively produced materials.
Because of the way they were woven and because the fabrics are finished with a special impregnation after weaving, our fabrics have a water-repellent effect. This means you achieve a water column of 300 (this value is known from outdoor clothing), which means that no water penetrates the fabric for a long time and you have time to protect the sun protection from the rain.
When it rains, our awning fabrics are not immediately soaked through and can be closed without exposing the internal electrical system to the risk of damage from moisture.
The water-repellent lotus effect also means that it is insensitive to other environmental influences, such as dust and pollen; these small particles can combine with water and roll off.
Our tightly woven polyacrylic fabrics also have excellent tear resistance, the fabric can withstand moderate winds for years. But even a strong wind doesn't tear the fabric so easily. That's why it's particularly important that you retract your awning in strong winds and protect the technology.
Since polyacrylic is a fully synthetic material, it is also resistant to rotting and offers a long life cycle with this property.
This guarantees that your awning fabric will look beautiful for a long time.
In summary, we can say that we process really good polyacrylic awning fabrics with these properties:

- Threads that are spun-dyed before weaving, resulting in very high lightfastness

- Our awning fabric is manufactured fully automated. This means we can provide you with consistently high quality.
A standardized awning fabric has a width of 120cm. Of course, this width is not enough, so the fabric panels of our awnings are adjusted and sewn accordingly. This is done in the direction of failure. As a result, the fabric may have slight waves or minor wrinkles, but this in no way affects its durability, quality or function.
A notice:
The awning fabric is delivered folded. Small wrinkles on the fabric are normal phenomena and do not constitute a reason for complaint!
