This listing is for a vintage Christian Dior figural pin from times past. It is quite rare and very beautiful.

Designed in the form of a dragonfly, the head, thorax and legs are made of gold-plated metal. The eyes are faceted black crystals. It is adorned with four green wings, which are made of Gripoix glass. The glass is delicate and ethereal as gossamer.

It has 6 blue and green glass beads defining the abdominal segments and Cerci.

Guaranteed authentic, it has a hallmark plate on the bottom, which reads, CHR. DIOR 1966 GERMANY.

It has a straight pin closure, which is in good working order.

It is delicate and diminutive, measuring 2 1/4 inch long, and having a 3 inch wingspan. 

Gift ready, included in the auction are sleeper bag and Dior gift box shown.

Condition

It is in good condition, with no cracks to the glass or wear to the gold.

The box and sleeper bag show signs of use commensurate with age.

Comes from a smoke-free home.
