EXCELLENT VINTAGE CONDITION WITH SOME WEAR. THERE IS A NIBBLE TO ONE CORNER & SOME GENERAL MINOR WEAR. THE RADIO WORKS, THERE IS A CRACKLE WHEN INITIALLY USING PARTICULARLY WHEN ADJUSTING VOLUME WHICH TOOK AROUND 15 MINS TO SETTLE. THE FLIP CLOCK WORKS FULLY AND TOOK AROUND 15 MINUTES TO SETTLE TO AN EXACT ACCURATE TIME. THE ALARM IS WORKING, BUT I DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO DO THE SLEEP FUNCTION SO THIS MAY BE THE ONLY THING NOT WORKING. PLEASE EXAMINE ALL PHOTOS, EXACTLY AS PICTURED.

Here we have a rare, super stylish vintage 1970's Saehan RD-300 flip clock radio. This was made in Korea and the model was first released in 1975 and was sold until 1979. This is a fantastic example of 1970's domestic electronics, combining an AM/FM radio with a mechanical flip number digital clock. The rectangular case has a simulated woodgrain finish with black detailing, chrome and controls. Please note the flip clock is much clearer in person, it was just difficult to picture with the reflection.

The first-year selling price is recorded as A$59.95 in 1975 which is the equivalent to A$540 today when adjusted for Australian inflation. At current exchange rates this is roughly £280 so this is what I am going to ask for the clock - a solid investment! A fantastic addition to any retro, space age, mid century or vintage inspired interior. It would also make a great period prop for film, television, photography or display. A particularly interesting piece for collectors of vintage radios, flip clocks and vintage electronics. It measures approximately 7.5 inches by 6.5 inches by 6.5 inches including the knobs, weighing around 1.5kgs. It comes with just under 1.75m of cable. This is the only one on the market of course so get it while you can! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
