Airedale Terrier Hand Painted Dog Portrait Brooch , Enhancer Hook Signed ABBOTT

I don't know anything about this piece, but it looks special.  No metal marks.  Painting signed "Abbott " . I looked at it close up and I don't see print marks, just brush strokes.

About 1-7/8inx 1.5in. Pin back with enhancer hook that is open at the bottom. Golden colored, by has green tarnish on some of the prongs.
