This 1973 Franklin Mint Christmas plate features the iconic artwork of Norman Rockwell, entitled "Trimming The Tree." The Franklin Mint, established in 1964, was renowned for producing high-quality precious metal collectibles, and this series highlights the Americana style of Rockwell, one of the most prolific American illustrators of the 20th century. This limited edition plate is crafted from solid sterling silver and represents a classic example of holiday commemorative collectibles from the early 1970s.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition with light, natural tarnish consistent with age. The etched artwork remains crisp and clear. The polished surface shows only very fine surface micro-scratches typical of handled silver. No dents, deep gouges, or repairs are visible. The beaded rim is intact without deformation.
