Vintage cowrie anchor
The base is a vintage wooden anchor wall hanging decoration that I have given a new life as it had been damaged
The cowrie shells were collected in the 1970’s which is likely to be the same age as the wooden base. I have left the varnish on
As I like the contrast of the shells . Some of the shells have holes and were harvested from broken necklaces . I have added a new hock for wall hanging .
