Offered from my personal collection is a new, factory-sealed copy of Joe Gordon’s Introducing Joe Gordon, issued as part of the Verve Subscribers Limited Numbered Edition.

This is individually numbered #1494 of only 2,500 copies produced.

Originally released in 1955, Introducing Joe Gordon was trumpeter Joe Gordon’s debut album as a leader. Gordon was a gifted hard-bop trumpeter whose career was tragically short, making his relatively small recorded output especially interesting to jazz collectors. He later recorded and performed with major figures including Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie, Art Blakey, Horace Silver and Shelly Manne.

This limited numbered pressing is a very nice opportunity to add the album to a serious jazz collection in unopened condition. I have kept this copy sealed and have not opened it to inspect or play the vinyl. As with any sealed record, I grade the vinyl as presumed Mint, since its actual condition cannot be verified without breaking the factory seal.

I am selling this from my own collection, and the photos are of the actual record you will receive. Please look closely at all photos, particularly the jacket, corners, edges, shrink and numbered area, as they are an important part of my description.

The record will be packed carefully in a proper LP mailer with additional protection to help prevent movement and corner damage during shipping.
