Vintage Matchbox Superfast '57 Chevy diecast hot rod. Black body with a red tilt-forward hood, chrome blown engine sticking up through the hood, chrome side exhaust pipes, chrome front and rear bumpers, tinted windows and yellow/red flame tampos on the roof and front fenders. The rear quarter panel is printed '57 Chevy' in red and yellow. The baseplate is molded 'MATCHBOX Superfast / '57' CHEVY / MATCHBOX TOYS LTD (C) 1979 / MADE IN MACAU'. The hood pivots open on the front hinge as shown.

Condition is used with play wear. Look closely at the photos: there are small paint chips down to bare metal on the rear fender/fin area near the tail lights on both sides, a few tiny nicks along the roof and rear edges, and light scuffing on the red hood surface. The gloss black paint shows scattered dust specks and faint surface scratches under direct light, and there is minor paint thinning on the high edges of the fins. Tampos are still bright with no significant rub-through. Windows are clear with light haze. All four wheels are present, roll freely, and the tires show light wear. No cracks, no bends, no missing chrome parts. Baseplate has light handling marks.
