At the 2018 Sandown 500, David Reynolds and co-driver Luke Youlden secured pole position in the #9 Penrite Erebus Motorsport Holden Commodore, featuring a retro 1986 "Chickenman" livery.

Reynolds clinched the pole by winning the Saturday "Race for the Grid 2" sprint, though Jamie Whincup and Paul Dumbrell won the main 500km race.
