The Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T* 28-85mm f/3.3-4 MMJ is a Japanese-manufactured Zeiss standard zoom lens for the Contax/Yashica mount system. Covering wide-angle to short telephoto in a single lens, it is one of the most versatile zooms in the Contax CY lineup. The MMJ designation identifies it as a later Japan-made variant in the MM series.

Vario-Sonnar Optical Design
