Performance Tracking

LapWiz turns lap timing into a broader view of each session through its Performance Dashboard. Racers can review best lap, average lap, forecast, shadow run, and lap history to better understand their sessions, while shadow run allows them to race against a previous best lap or saved session with real-time lap delta feedback. The system also supports race result sharing, cloud race records, club leaderboards, and real-time rankings, giving racers multiple ways to review and compare their results.

Precision Timing

Built-in high-sensitivity industrial-grade IR sensors in the transponder and decoder provide fast, accurate, and reliable lap timing across a wide range of racing environments. LapWiz has a detection range of three to ten meters, while the transponder sends signals for precise timing. A magnetic sun visor helps reduce direct sunlight interference and improve IR signal stability outdoors, while high-visibility LEDs provide status information through a blinking connection indicator and flashing lap-detection indicator.

Race Management

LapWiz supports simultaneous multi-car timing and lets racers manage transponder IDs directly through the app, making it possible to assign driver profiles, match cars to racers, and organize races from a smartphone. Each event can receive a unique Race ID QR code that racers scan to join, while wireless casting brings live lap timing, rankings, and race progress to a larger screen through AirPlay, Apple TV, or Android screen casting. Built-in Bluetooth also supports live timing, race control, and performance analysis, while OTA updates provide wireless feature and optimization updates.
