Vintage John D. Eaton Ltd. (Derby) Deep Blue Single Ring Presentation Box
A beautiful, highly collectible vintage single ring presentation box dating from approximately the 1920s to the 1940s. This elegant case was originally distributed by the historic watchmakers and jewellers John D. Eaton Ltd.
Wrapped in a striking, deep blue marbled faux-alligator/lizard skin patterned leatherette over a robust frame.
Lined with cream/off-white satin, featuring a crisp, dark blue foil-stamped jeweler's crest that reads: "Estabd. Over Half A Century - John D. Eaton Ltd. Watchmakers & Jewellers, 99 St. Peter's Street, Derby."
Fitted with a classic black plush velvet ring pad featuring a single deep horizontal slot—perfect for presenting a vintage engagement ring, signet ring, or wedding band.
Traditional two-piece vintage cardboard construction connected by a flexible satin fabric hinge at the back. It opens smoothly and sits open elegantly for display. No metal springs or push-buttons.
Excellent vintage condition with minor edge wear. The satin lid lining is bright with very minor age-related toning. The black velvet pad remains plush and cleanly holds a single ring securely in place.
