This is a vintage paper mache Easter Egg designed to hold candy or other treats. It was made in East Germany, probably in the 1950s. It is in fairly good condition, a few exterior creases, but it appears complete.

The interior is clean and still has the ‘lace’ trim. It came with a bow inside but I do not know if this is original. The egg measures 7 inches in height.
