Rodney Kent Silver Co.
Tulip Floral Pattern - Hand Wrought Aluminum
Mid-20th Century, 1 Piece

This Rodney Kent hand-wrought aluminum basket dish exemplifies the popular decorative giftware produced in New York during the mid-20th century. Known for their distinctive hammered texture and floral motifs, Rodney Kent pieces often featured tulips, which became a hallmark of the company's design aesthetic. This piece serves as a functional candy dish or decorative tabletop accent, featuring a scalloped rim and an ornate floral handle.

• Marked "Hand Wrought Creation by Rodney Kent Silver Co 429" on underside
• Material: Hand wrought (hammered) aluminum - silver-tone metal
• Features embossed tulip bouquet in the basin and floral scrollwork on the handle
• Dimensions: Approximately 6.5 inches by 6.5 inches and 4.75 inches in height

Condition: Good vintage condition with moderate surface oxidation and darkening in the textured recesses typical of aged aluminum. The piece shows light surface scratches consistent with age and use. No major dents, deep gouges, or structural repairs. The handle remains firmly attached and the scalloped edges are well-preserved.
