The EXA is a historically significant 35mm SLR produced by Jhagee in Dresden, East Germany, as a more accessible counterpart to the legendary Exakta system. Known for its distinctive trapezoidal body and modular design, the EXA features an interchangeable waist-level viewfinder and a unique shutter system. This kit includes a Spiratone 105mm f/2.5 telephoto lens, making it a complete era-appropriate set for collectors, restorers, or as a classic display piece.

Condition: The item is offered for parts or repair and is untested. The camera body shows significant cosmetic wear, including pitting on the chrome top and bottom plates and peeling/cracking of the leatherette covering, particularly on the base. The waist-level finder opens correctly, though the internal mirror and screen show age-related dust. The Spiratone lens has visible dust and smudging on the front element; focus and aperture rings move but have not been tested for precision. Shutter and film advance mechanisms are untested.
