Epiphone CASINO Lefty TERADA Approx. 3.0kg with soft case Electric Guitar
Description
A very rare left-handed Casino, manufactured in 1991 by Terada Musical Instruments, one of Japan's leading acoustic hollow-body guitar factories, has arrived.
This instrument had previously been modified with humbuckers by its previous owner, but a meticulous restoration has been undertaken to restore the Casino's original identity.
The pickups have been replaced with high-quality GOTOH dog-ear type (VT-1) pickups, and remounted with precise fitting techniques that minimize the exposure of the previously modified routing. The pickguard, which had been modified to accommodate humbuckers, was newly molded and manufactured specifically for this instrument, and the valuable original "e" mark has been carefully transplanted.
Furthermore, the hat knobs, which had been replaced, have been replaced again with reflector knobs that recreate the style of yesteryear, resulting in a complete restoration of the guitar's original, noble appearance and sound.
This is a practical and rational instrument for left-handed players, combining a slim, full-hollow body, the dynamic and airy tone characteristic of P-90 pickups, and the robust construction precision unique to Terada Musical Instruments.
There are scratches, dents, tarnish, and rust on the metal parts throughout. There is a tear on the inside of the headstock.
It comes with a navy Epiphone soft case, which was used around 2010. The truss rod is functioning well, with ample adjustment range in both forward and reverse directions.
The neck has been adjusted with the truss rod and is almost straight. There is some overall fret wear, but it does not affect playability.
[Replaced parts]: Pickups, pickguard, tuners, knobs
[Weight]: Approx. 3.0kg
[Country of manufacture]: Japan
[Handedness]: Left-handed
*Priority has been given to photographing the most noticeable damage. Due to image limitations, please understand that there may be scratches or damage that cannot be fully captured in the photos or depicted.
