Welcome to our auction! Many of you know us as longtime collectors and sellers of antique and vintage Halloween, Christmas, Valentine’s Day and Easter holiday memorabilia, paper ephemera, antique dolls and toys and fine jewelry.

Over the next several months, I will be listing more incredible pieces of Hallowe'en history from some of our hobby’s most well-respected and knowledgeable collectors. I am celebrating more than 25 years of finding new homes for such wonderful treasures on eBay!

What a WICKEDLY wonderful instant collection of authentic vintage or antique Hallowe'en items for the established or newer collector.

Included here are two NEVER USED paper party hats in Germany circa 1920s or 1930s. These two have awesome illustrations and they are both two sided. The pointed hat shows a broomed witch, black cats, flying owls, ravens or crows, bats, and even a spooky devil with his trident. This hat measures 11 1/4” high.

The other hat has black cats and Jack o' Lanterns along the band. This one measures 12” across. The pointed hat has a little roughness along the bottom edge, and the other hat is in MINT condition.

There are five trick-or-treat bags, three of which are in the larger, harder-to-find size. These are from the midcentury years, and they measure 10 ¾” high. The illustrations show a haunted castle, pumpkins, cornstalks, black cats, and the words Trick or Treat. They are in MINT condition. The two smaller bags each measure 6 ¾” high. They have also never been used and are from the midcentury era. A child in costume appears, as well as celestial icons, witches on brooms, ghosts, and more. They are also in MINT condition.

The Jack o' Lantern diecuts are both two-sided and are in wonderful autumnal colors. They also appear to be lit from within. They measure 5 ¾” across. Both have creases at the stems.

The little witch’s hat is a never used standup placecard table decoration produced by the Beistle Co. of Shippensburg, PA in the 1920s. This little hat features a Jack o' Lantern on one side and a witch’s broom on the other. It measures 4 3/8” high. Interestingly, this hat would have originally come with a fortune, which is no longer present. It does have small creases to the band of the hat.

The last item is especially interesting. The early bow-wearing black cat was originally used as an advertising die-cut for Black Cat Hosiery, a brand of the Chicago-Kenosha Hosiery Co. of Kenosha, Wisconsin. It measures 5 ¼” high. It has creases to both sides of the bow. The expression is especially eye-catching. This kitty would have originally been sitting on top of a rectangular advertising base, which is no longer there. This image was in use by the manufacturer between the years 1915 to 1925!

This is a FRIGHTfully fun opportunity to create an instant collection for those looking to join our wonderful hobby, or for experienced collectors to add more items to their collections. They would make an ideal addition to any collection of authentic vintage and antique Halloween memorabilia, early advertising and merchandising collectibles, hard-to-find diecut decorations, and holiday paper ephemera from many moons ago.

Enjoy!

Oh, there’ll be spooky doings
When cometh Hallowe’en,
With black cats loudly meowing,
And witches to be seen;
For ‘tis the night when bats careen,
And hoots the hooting owl,
While in the heavy shadows
The gray ghost slyly prowl.

Happy Hallowe’en 2026!
