My items are tuned if necessary, cleaned in an ultrasonic cleaner, polished, cleaned again, then sanitized. This item is ready to shave and uses double edge PTFE coated razor blades for shaving. Full brass construction will last forever. Adjustable dial allows the user to dial in the level of aggressiveness for the most comfortable shave possible. I highly recommend the Slim as a premium option first razor for beginners.
