This listing features two (2) vintage MCM Libbey Tally Ho Equestrian Horse double old-fashioned glasses. These multicolored cocktail glasses were manufactured between 1946 and 1954. The glasses feature a decorated transfer design with a fox hunt theme. Several scenes were produced between the years 1946 and the 1960s. This particular scene features a white and black horse jumping a fence during the hunt. These glasses are dated earlier in the production timeline because the bottom of the glass is stamped with a cursive capital L.
The double old-fashioned glasses stand at 3 3/8 inches tall and are 3 1/4 inches wide and are perfect for serving cold drinks. The glasses are in exceptional condition - no chips or cracks and no loss of the transfer. These exceptional MCM glasses would be a perfect addition to any mid-century modern, fox hunt, or equestrian barware collection.
Made in the United States by Libbey, they showcase the charm and style of mid-century modern design.
