Sailor 1911 fountain pen in black with gold trim, presented with its dedicated pen case. The nib is 14K gold, a hallmark of Sailor's classic 1911 line. This pen was received as a gift over ten years ago and was used for a period before being stored in a pen case for an extended time. As a result of prior use, there is general light wear and minor scratches across the body. More notably, the area shown in photo 14 displays visible scratches, paint chipping, and a dent. Please review all photos carefully before purchasing. Prior to listing, the nib was rinsed with water to clear dried ink. However, as this was done by a non-specialist, some ink residue may remain inside. The pen has not been test-written after cleaning due to lack of ink on hand. The pen functioned without issue during its period of use, but its current writing condition has not been verified. Please be aware that residual ink may occasionally emerge from the interior, as is common with fountain pens that have been stored after use. The included case shows some creasing and wear as well. This item is sold as-is. As the seller is not a fountain pen specialist, please assess condition from the photos and purchase only if you are comfortable with the described state.
