WHEEL COVER SET OVERALL RATING CONDITION: Grade A levels = Excellent (A), Near Excellent (A/A-), Very Good (A-), Pretty Good (A--). Grade B levels = Driver Grade Pretty Good (B++), Driver Grade Good Shape (B+), Average Condition (B), Fair/Poor but Usable Condition (B-, C+, C). All "B" & "C" Grades will have more visible damage than any "A" Grade. Ratings are based on the physical condition of the metal and the overall perceptive appearance, not paint (if applicable). This auction item is highlighted in BLUE on this scale.
SET DETAILS: This auction is for FOUR (4), overall each one is in "Grade A--" shape (Pretty Good Condition). Visually they are rather bright and cheery, with a fair amount of polished reflective shine along with lightly brushed finish (Center Face). Full details on the condition of each cover is listed further below. Additionally, watch the Video that has been uploaded.
PHYSICAL CONDITION: Lower "A" Grade (A--) wheel covers will have lower prices than "A" grades but they also have more wear & tear / damage ( usually several minor spots)....perhaps this is a balance point for a budget conscious owner. They are decently presentable but I do not consider them to be Excellent. These particular wheel covers have seen some road time but still have plenty of life left in them. They are a unique design, by having somewhat of a turbine-ish appearance with many slotted air ventilation cuts (great for keeping those big brakes cool). The raised centers are nicely reflective and have the traditional Cadillac Crest in the center. All 4 of the wheel covers are specifically graded as "A--). Most of the imperfections are either on the Perimeter Rims or on the Crown Edge. The Perimeter Rims usually are dinged or dimpled by people installing them without patience (Clips need to be aligned over the rim lip so that it seats properly/quickly. Additional hammering doesn't help). The Center Faces (what you mostly see) are Very Good or Excellent Condition.
As a general rule, damage on any "A--" Grade can be perimeter hammer taps or curb rashing/scratches, storage scratches, dimples/dings/scratch lines/crease on the Crown Face, metal wobble from some sort of impact, stone dings/scratches, paint fade or peel, Rashing or metal wobble on the Outer Crown, etc. A quick assessment is below (generally only imperfections are listed below -- The rest of each wheel cover is in very good or great shape). All 4 of the Wheel Covers have Cadillac Crests with the colors restored.

2510H2 A-- Beautiful Center Face (what you mostly see). Several hammer/mallet indentations in Outer Perimeter Rim. Excellent Spokes. Crown Edge is Very Good, with a slight scuff/metal wobble (2 inches) on lower lower left. Great Shine!
2510N1 A-- Beautiful Center Face (what you mostly see). Several hammer/mallet indentations & light scuffing in the Outer Perimeter Rim, mainly in the upper half. Excellent Spokes & Excellent Crown Edge as well. Great Shine!
2302C9 A-- Beautiful Center Face (what you mostly see). Some light scuffing in the Upper Right portion of the Perimeter Rim, the rest of it is great. Spokes are Excellent. Crown Edge (lower right quadrant) has a 2" scuff (far right) and some metal wobble just above the spokes. Great Shine!
2403C1 A-- Beautiful Center Face (what you mostly see). There are a few hammer/mallet indentations in the Outer Perimeter Rim, mainly in the upper half. Crown Edge is nearly perfect with just a 2" thin line scuff at far left. Center Face a pair of stone nicks and a very faint scratch line just below the Crest. Great Shine!

The wheel covers were test mounted on an Eldorado rim and fit decently. All of my wheel covers have been professionally cleaned to remove tar, oils, road grime, brake dust, etc.....Dirty and stinky wheel covers will NOT be coming your way! Mounting tabs are also neutral adjusted as well.
NOTE: This style wheel cover has 6 old school mounting clips. They can be a bit tricky to mount until you have done it a few times. The benefit to this design is that they usually avoid conflict with old school wheel weights. Once you understand how they mount you can usually mount them faster than ones with 80+ tabs on the back (one bent tab can prevent it from seating).

** The 1967-78 Eldorado wheel covers are unique in the car world.....they are designed to fit over the wheel rim that has a huge offset due to the front wheel drive design. Therefore NO other front or rear wheel drive hubcaps will ever work on the Eldo...just the original factory ones.**

NOTE: This is an old-school wheel cover! You may have to bend some of the retaining tabs to get it to fit perfect on your steel wheels....especially if you have balancing weights. This wheel cover will fit any 1967-78 Eldorado with the stock factory 15" steel rims. Cadillac never offered anything else but that rim back in the day.
