Red-pink Malaya Garnet faceting rough for the lapidary. gem cutting. This is old material from Madagascar..  It weighs 18.3 cts. It measures 13X17X10 mm. This is a clean stone, This is from a parcel marked Malaya Garnet. no orange tone but very nice Pink-Red color. Light color. Very open color. Really nice color. well shaped for good recovery. I was a major facet rough dealer for over 20 yrs. I semi retired in the late 1990's. I still do some local shows and have lots of material. Decided to start selling some off as I am in my 80's.
