The Sony MZ-E510 is the penultimate iteration of the 5xx series of MiniDisc players (500,501,505,510,and 520). It is dedicated to disc playback, and does not have disc recording functionality.
Released in 2003, it features support for MDLP, anti-shock 'G Protection', a six band equalizer, and ATRAC type S technology.
It weighs 67 grams without a battery or disc installed.
It has a 3.5 mm headphone jack for audio output.
