The Denon DRM-740 is a mid-90s audiophile-grade stereo cassette deck featuring a 3-head system, closed-loop dual capstan/3-motor transport, and Dolby B, C, and HX Pro noise reduction for high-quality recording and playback.
This unit is in great condition, just a few small marks/scratches here and there, display is nice and bright.
I bought it used with newly replaced belts a couple of years ago.
I'll be including the manual that came with it, the cover isn't in great shape but its still useful to learn the functions
Soon after my purchase I used a pc with REW and WFgui software to calibrate the speed, azimuth and levels, wow and flutter was around 0.08 with my 3khz test tape
Since then I've recorded/played hundreds of tapes with it, and never had any issues just cleaned the heads/pinch rollers/capstans every now and again. Selling due to buying another 3-head deck that is a better match for the other components in my system.
