I Apologize- very long post - lots to read

What an unbelievable Antique treasure from the Victorian era. This tureen dates to the late 19th century, specifically circa 1880-1895. (This is huge approximately 14 tall x 9 deep x 15 long/ 6.12 lbs)

This might be more of a treasure than anyone would know. This comes out of a prominent estate in the Catskill Region, was locally known for a massive collection of Antiques, Hotel ware, Art and some Greene County historical items. All items were distributed to several auction houses out of the area. Due to privacy no further information will be provided.

This was noted - from the famous Catskill Mountain House. However, I do not see any monograms which I would have thought would be present. I PRICED THIS AS A VICTORIAN TUREEN NOT adding value for the possibility of historical factor. CONDITION - Heavy dark aged patina, has scratches and to my eyes it looks slightly slanted / leaning. Incredibly, there are NO major dings. Needs a polish and buffing, but the condition of this fornits age is simply splendid.

Sold as FOUND, heavily aged patina and has scuffs and scratches. PLEASE buy it if you love it, or for a great centerpiece, all the information provide above is just informative and some basic history.
