An original Roman double denarius with the portrait of Gordian III (238-244 AD) to the obverse and the god Sol to the reverse. Diameter 20-26mm. Weight approx 4.23g. The 20p coin is a size guide.

Condition: F obverse and VF reverse.. Well centred strike to both sides.
