This impressive 13.5-inch (35cm) diameter plate features a striking, hand-painted silhouette mandala design with repeated heart motifs rendered in vibrant earthy oranges, golds, and deep brown tones over a matte black ground.

The reverse clearly shows the impressed shape "5" mark alongside the official Poole England dolphin backstamp and the hand-written monogram for coveted studio artist Diana Davis .
