The book is in good condition. It has come from the state of an artic critic Whilst the dust cover and book itself are like new, a number of pages have very small pieces of annotation by the critic. The photos show that this has occurred on a number of pages where there is text, not on the pictures. The annotations are very small.

The book contains some of the most popular paintings in the National Gallery of Impressionist and Post Impressionist paintings including Degas, Dubufe, Gericault, Vernet, Delacroix, Seurat and many more.
