Offered for sale is this selection of charming Royal
Doulton Character Jugs from The Great Composers series, modelled by Stanley
James Taylor.
They are between approx. 6.75 and 7 inches tall and
are offered for sale in very good condition with no chips or cracks.
They are all fully marked on the base with the Royal
Doulton stamp and the reference number.
I have included lots of photos, including photos of
the back stamp. Please take a close look at these as they form a large part of
the description.
The character jugs I have for sale are;
D7022 TCHAIKOVSKY; handle
formed as swans and music from
D7030 CHOPIN; handle
formed as a piano keyboard and scroll.
D7031 MOZART; handle
formed as a figure of The Barber of Seville, bar of music and barbers pole.
D7056 SCHUBERT; handle formed as a music rack and an
excerpt from “Cradle Song”.
D7080 HANDEL;
handle formed as a music score and multicoloured stars representing fireworks.
D7097 JOHANN STRAUSS II; handle formed as a violin, waves
and the Blue Danube score.
