Antique Early Edwardian period Large Sized Calling Card Case in Sterling Silver, of a traditional style the card case features a hinged flip lid and push button catch to the front spine so as to serve for when opening the case, the front of the card case features the classic 'Heads Of Angels' by Reynolds in Repousse.
Overall good condition, no holes or splits, a few dings commensurate with age and handling over the years, nothing serious, interestingly the reverse corner to the card case is engraved with a monogram.
The card case when closed shut measures 10.3 cm x 7.5 cm x 4 mm in dimension and is impressed with markings indicating Birmingham Assay office circa 1902 with the makers mark for Henry Mathews of Vittoria Street, Birmingham.
