Previous owner said they were new but in a open box

Looks like they were taken out and just never installed.

​Because this is an older, dual-cable (push/pull throttle) accessory kit, it generally fits 1996 to 2015/2016 Harley-Davidson models with 1-inch handlebars that use traditional mechanical throttle cables.

​Depending on your exact year and model family, the kit fits the following:

​Compatible Model Families

• ​Touring: 1996–2007 models (Road King, Electra Glide, Street Glide, Road Glide). Note: Does not fit 2008-later Touring models, as they switched to Electronic Throttle-by-Wire (TBW).

• ​Softail: 1996–2015 models (Heritage, Fat Boy, Softail Deluxe, Night Train, FXST).

• ​Dyna: 1996–2017 models (Super Glide, Low Rider, Wide Glide, Street Bob, Fat Bob).

• ​Sportster (XL): 1996–2022 models (Iron 883, Forty-Eight, 1200 Custom).

• ​V-Rod (VRSC): 2002–2017 models.

​Important Fitment Exceptions & Requirements

• ​Wiring Harnesses: While the physical grips slide onto the bars and connect to the mechanical throttle sleeves, 2011-later Softail, 2012-later Dyna, and 2014-later Sportster models typically require the separate purchase of a Harley-Davidson Electrical Connection Harness (Part No. 72673-11) to tie into the bike's electrical system.

• ​Exclusions: This kit will not fit any model equipped with Electronic Throttle-by-Wire (such as 2008+ Touring or 2016+ Softails) or models running internal-wired handlebars where the push/pull throttle mechanism differs.
