Exquisite Hand-Painted Scholar & Figure Scene
This listing is for a beautiful and highly detailed Chinese blue and white porcelain decorative plate. The central medallion features an expertly hand-painted landscape scene depicting historical scholars or wise men gathered in a bamboo grove, studying a scroll. It features a popular traditional motif known as the "Seven Sages of the Bamboo Grove" or a similar gathering of scholars and wise men.
This plate is in excellent condition, however please note: There is a tiny chip in the rim (please see pics for closeups). Please let us know if you like this plate as additional may be available.
